Wildlife Education & Administration Assistant

Julia is a passionate animal lover with knowledge and experience caring for a wide variety of species through her studies, work, and home life.

After completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, she spent 6 years in pet retail, later progressing into a Store Manager role. Though she does love our resident reptiles (and especially our amphibious friends) she has a particular passion for the more furry and fluffy creatures, and has recently completed an online short course in the care & rehabilitation of native Australian mammals.

Jules works as a Wildlife Education Assistant as well as in our Administration Office, so you might find her on the phones or out in the wild!

Outside of work, Jules is a proud parent to her cats – Koda (who she hand-reared and foster-failed during her Vet Nursing studies!), Thumbelina, and her “step-cat” Smokey.
